Social Media Content Manager (Volunteer)
Time commitment: This is an on-going volunteer role that requires a time commitment of approximately 3-4 hours per week.

Location of volunteer work: Home office
Reports to: FOAG Board of Directors
Position description:
FOAG is seeking a highly organized volunteer to manage our social media channels. This is a hands-on volunteer role that requires a weekly commitment.
Duties and responsibilities:
Upload social content and images from volunteer content creators to a social media management platform;
Schedule social posts and stories including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter;
Facilitate discussion, answer questions and manage social response for optimal engagement;
Research and pitch new story and campaign ideas as required.
Requirements:
Demonstrated competence with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube platforms;
Previous experience using Buffer or similar social media management platform a strong asset;
Creative and passionate about social media and Allan Gardens;
An inclusive attitude.
Experience, skills, and abilities:
Excellent written communication skills, with accuracy and good attention to detail;
Ability to deal in a professional manner when communicating online;
Strong organizational skills and capable of meeting deadlines;
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and motivated to work as an individual.
