Did you hear? The Friends of Allan Gardens partnered with Venus Fest 2025 to bring live music and art to the heart of downtown Toronto — and what a spectacular event it was! Over the course of the weekend, Allan Gardens was transformed into a radiant celebration of creativity, community, and connection.

September was a whirlwind of learning, connection, and inspiration. Friends of Allan Gardens was proud to take part in two major international gatherings: the International Federation of Landscape Architects World Congress in Nantes, France (Sept 10–12) and the American Public Gardens Association Symposium on Conservatories & Greenhouses at The Leaf in Winnipeg (Sept 22–24). Both experiences were unforgettable — and they’ve left us more energized than ever about the future of Allan Gardens.

The honey from Ilknur Bee Yard’s first crop in Canada has been successfully and joyfully consumed. She will return in August with the 2025 summer harvest.

With everything we’ve accomplished in 2024, we can confidently say this year was nothing short of AMAZING! These successes belong to each and every one of you—our dedicated volunteers. You are the heart of this organization, and your efforts make Allan Gardens the vibrant and welcoming space it is today.
