🌸 The Friends of Allan Gardens and Mozhdeh Hashemian are hosting Allan Gardens 3rd Annual Nowruz Celebration! This is a public event for people of all ages, and backgrounds focused on sharing Iranian culture and celebrating our collective love for spring and spring blooms! Enjoy the beautiful spring blooms in the Temperate Show House, a beautiful greenhouse cared for by City of Toronto Parks Staff!

Tentative Schedule of Activities:

10:00 AM: Event Commences & Public viewing of the traditional Haft-sin.

10:30 AM: Formal Welcome & Commemoration Remarks (This would be an ideal time for the Minister’s address).

11:00 AM: Navasaz Academy performs Traditional Persian music

11:30 AM: Hoordance group performance

12:00 PM: Community Remembrance Book signing.

12:30 PM: SEEN BAND Performance & Sama (Whirling) Dance.

1:30 PM: Community Kurdish dance workshop.

2:00 PM: Event Concludes.
