Kick off Urban Agriculture Week and celebrate the Autumn Open House Weekend with the Friends of Allan Gardens!

When: Saturday September 20 (during our farmers market) & Sunday September 21th. drop-in anytime between 10am-2pm.

Where: Allan Gardens Children's Conservatory & Teaching Garden at 19 Horticultural Ave, Toronto, ON by Jarvis and Carlton.

Join us in our newly renovated Teaching Garden for some autumn-themed garden fun! There will be garden tours and garden advice from local urban gardeners and volunteers. Learn about seed saving, vermicomposting, garlic growing & garden clean up through our drop-in demonstrations. We will also have some autumn-themed crafts for kids! Children welcome with parental or guardian supervision. Activities are free, donations welcome!

Also this weekend, make your own bouquets! Make your own arrangements with flowers and foliage from our garden! By donation ($10 suggested). While supplies last!

This event is in partnership with Toronto Urban Agriculture Week and there will be plenty of Autumn garden fun for everyone.
